In January 2027, MOTOVOLA is launching its most ambitious expedition yet. 12 days on BMW R 1300 GS across Saudi Arabia while the legendary Dakar Rally unfolds around us. This is not a regular motorcycle tour. It is a combination of a world-class motorsport event, desert riding, and luxury accommodation that has no equivalent in Europe. We pick up the bikes at an official BMW dealer in Riyadh. Brand new R 1300 GS machines, set up for desert conditions. The route runs through central Saudi Arabia, the Al Bahah mountains, the Red Sea coast, the ancient city of AlUla, and back via Hail and Buraydah. Over 3,000 km in 12 days. Three days are spent right at the Dakar stages. We stand trackside, watch the competitors, and soak in an atmosphere no TV broadcast can convey. The rest of the route is our own expedition through places most tourists never see.
What the expedition includes
BMW R 1300 GS motorcycles from an official dealer in Riyadh. Hotels including the Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, Banyan Tree AlUla, and Bay La Sun on the Red Sea coast. Access to 3 Dakar Rally 2027 stages with bivouac entry. A support vehicle carrying luggage for the entire route. A MOTOVOLA guide who knows Saudi Arabia. What is not included? Flights to and from Riyadh, fuel, meals, and personal expenses. The route is planned so you can enjoy both the race and the desert landscape without rushing. Daily mileage averages around 250 km.

Expedition price
EUR 13,500 per person (flights not included). Price covers the motorcycle, accommodation, support vehicle, guide, and Dakar access passes. Deposit of EUR 5,000 upon booking.
