How motorcycle transport across Europe actually works
You've decided to ride Spain or Portugal but don't fancy 2,000 km of motorway just to get there. Fair enough. That's exactly why we started doing this back in 2000 — and we've been hauling bikes south ever since. Here's how it works. We pick up your motorcycle at one of our collection points in the Czech Republic or Slovakia (Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Bratislava — depending on the route). Your bike goes into an enclosed van, strapped down properly, no stacking, no nonsense. We run through Austria, across France, and down to your destination in Spain or Portugal. Every bike is fully insured during transport. In 24 years of doing this, we've never had an insurance claim. Not one. We're proud of that record and we intend to keep it. The van is enclosed — no weather exposure, no road debris, no stone chips from trucks. What do you need to provide? A rideable motorcycle (it needs to roll on and off the van under its own power), valid registration documents, and that's basically it. We handle the rest. You fly down, your bike is waiting. The whole thing typically takes 2-3 days depending on the destination. Málaga is the longest run, Barcelona the shortest. We'll confirm exact dates when you book. Simple as that.
Why not ride there yourself?
A lot of people ask us why they don't just ride there themselves. Sure, riding the whole way has its charm. But the reality is: two days on the motorway through Germany and France, fuel stops every 300 km, monotonous miles in heat or rain. And then two more days back. That's four days of your holiday gone. Most of our customers do it differently. They ship the bike with us, hop on a plane, and two hours later they're there. Fresh, rested, full tank, entire holiday ahead of them. No motorway fatigue, no risk, no wasted time.
